To escape this world, a boy wears his balloons and flies away. He succeeds in breaking through the ozone and entering the unbound and boundless universe. Whispers from planets resonate the voice from his inner self. As he listens, those are words dedicated to the departed.
The solo exhibition by Moses Iu Heilun is the sequel of “Into the air”, a comic book unfolding a young man’s adolescent struggles and the complicated yet delicate emotions towards his father. Iu begins where the story ends and imagines that the protagonist eventually flees from the earth, and emerges himself in planets and silence. Each planet represents a missing piece of the boy’s heart.
