Tales over dining table – on dishes, dining wares and family
In these few months after we opened, we have met many new and old faces at Casphalt. Undeniably, it’s food and flavours that connect the dots and unfold various topics, like vegetarian, animal, creation, parenting, community, etc. We know that Casphalt is more than a veggie joint when people say to us 「add oil」 (which is kind of blessing and encouragement in Cantonese).
CHOPSTICKTALE is about inclusion and hospitality. In Chinese culture, people would ask their guests to stay for dinner by putting an extra pair of chopsticks. At Casphalt, we echo such kindness and respect by doing good to oneself and others, while you are free to choose to do more or stay cool as you wish. Anyway, we are ready to 「add a pair of chopsticks」 if you choose to join in.
